Although I struggled to find a professional publisher, I received dozens of rejections. They all said the same thing, they did not believe there was a market for a book about the Arab American experience, nor a perspective on the Arab American community that was humorous.

So, I published the book myself. It was my very first major publishing project, so I could not resist the temptation to insert essays at the last minute and thereby circumventing a very carefully planned editing process.

I apologize for the grammar errors and typos. I hope this will correct the most egregious. There is never an excuse for an error or a typo. But, an error can always be corrected, and typos should never stand in the way of a badly needed book.
