Some people share my views, others are angered by them. But I do not compromise on principle and I apply the issue of principle fairly on everyone, criticizing all sides when they do wrong.

America is a good country, but it can be better if it addresses and corrects its faults and applies principle and justice fairly for everyone.

Israel has a right to exist, but must face up to, acknowledge and amend the injustices it commits against Palestinians.

Palestinians have a right to an independent state, but they must control their fanatics and bring to an end the violent terrorism.

What is Have-a-Nargila?

NO-HOLDS-BARRED commentaries that engage you, and force you to tackle the tough issues. Serious, sometimes humorous. Named "Best Ethnic Columnist in America" in November 2006 by the New American Media, Hanania gives you what the American media fails to give you, a full and honest perspective on the toughest issues.

Nargila is the Arabic word for "sheesha pipe," also known as a Hookah, or, when I was in college, a Bong.

Watch each new commentary here, or visit Google, Youtube or Ray Hanania's Myspace web site for a whole assortment of online videos.

JULY 24, 2007: HANANIA COMMENTARIES: Regular people asking questions via YouTube and online Internet Videos:
Instead of just letting average people ask questions of the presidential candidates, how about letting regular people run for office? That would be a revolutionary idea. And, they'd be better candidates.
