Media Coverage of the Lebanon War
How did the mainstream American, Israeli and Arab media cover the Israeli-Lebanese war? Was coverage balanced? Or was it biased as it often is in all of the media forums? Veteran journalists and co-hosts Ali Alarabi and Ray Hanania tackle these and other questions in this edition of CounterPoint. (Amnesty International did, after this show was taped and after the war, declared that Hezbollah aslo committed war crimes.)

BOOK ENDS: Reporters without Borders produced the phenomenal collection of essays in "Israel / Palestine: The Black Book." The essays explore issues of media coverage, lexicon and challenges in covering the accurate story of the conflict. Haaretz reporter Sayed Kashua, an Arab Israeli, writes a novel "Let it be Morning" that explores the challenges facing a Palestinian in Israel who returns to his original village.
